Collington is now awarding both a Yard of the Month AND a Lawn of the Month prize to 2 lucky recipients monthly from May to October. Each recipient will receive a $25 gift card to Lowes, recognition on the Collington HOA FB page, and a sign in their yard for a month proclaiming their winning status.
May Lawn of the Month
The winners of the first Lawn of the Month were the Kuhfuss family. Timothy Kuhfuss at 14625 Lavenham Lane. When asked about his gorgeous lawn, Mr. Kuhfuss humbly replied, “We do our best.”

The Winners of May's Yard of the Month—Jack and Kay Schiltz at 10107 Cravensford Terrace.
Mr. and Mrs. Schiltz use Miracle grow 2x monthly and Repellex granules as needed to keep things looking healthy and discourage critters. Kay is particularly fond of verbena and lantana. Their front bedding areas are a lovely mix of evergreens, pops of color, and architectural elements for interest. The coleus planters flanking the front door add additional layers of color and dimensional interest.
