​The Grounds committee is pleased to announce the September 2016 Yard of the Month.  This month's honor goes to Bob & Barb Hood, 14384 Forest Row Trail.  
 
The Hoods gave structure and visual interest to their corner lot by adding such features as: 

• A welcoming lighted walk to the front door from the curb.
• A decorative lamp post that anchors the side pathway to the front door.
• A deck and patio surrounded by plants and fencing for privacy and shaded by a pergola and retractable awning.

Complementing this structure, foundation plantings flow gracefully around the entire home, with year-round accents of color.  Red seems to be a favorite -- crepe myrtles, begonias, and roses, roses, roses.  (Barb mentioned something about rabbits loving her roses too...)  All is beautifully tended throughout the year.
